Just another lil something about me..

a Night at Ecoba

It's time to ChiLL with friends again. This round we went to a bistro/bar called Ecoba. It is located at PJ Trade Center, which is the building opposite where I am staying now. I can go there by walking distance. Of course, I did not walk there. Hehe. Kinda surprising 'coz I was being told that the place was fully booked since 2 days ago. But, we believed that 'Human defeats Fate' sometimes. So, we went there to try our luck. I guess Good Luck is by our sides. Haha. We were able to get a table at outdoor. I would say that it is quite a good place to chill with friends. They served cold and hot beverages and of course food. Unfortunately, I have not try out the main course yet. For sure, I'll be back to taste the food since it is soooo near.

First Time(s)

First time in Yukata

Today is one of the Special day in my life because I have did something that I have always wanted to do in the past years which is a 'Freelance Worker'. hehe. I know it might sound silly to some people out there. But, I'm glad I did it. =)

I'm going to tell you more about my today's experience. The event was held in the Fukuya Restaurant at KL. Title is Japan Super GT Launch and Press Conference. Whereby, the real GT race will be held in June at Sepang. I was one of the 'Usherettes' in the event. There are 4 girls including me. We were assigned into diff tasks. It was a hot sunny day and I have to stand in front of the main entrance of the restaurant to welcome and greet the Guests and Media Press in Japanese. Welcome in Japanese is pronounced as 'Irashaimase'. Oh ya, there is one guy from RTM, I assumed he was teasing me 'coz he asked if my work is to smile for the whole day only. Yes, I replied 'coz I was lazy to talk to him under the hot sun. Most of my duty is to keep smiling, welcoming and greeting the guests. After a while, he needs to video the Host by introducing this GT event and the Host is requested to stand at my position just to capture the best view of the restaurant whereas the usherettes are required to stand slightly behind the host to become 'Background' which is not included in my job scope. After 5 mins, I can see the Host (Indian), he is sweating a lot and he was using a M.A.C loose powder for the coverage of his face. LOL. Then, he turned over and ask me and another usherette, 'How you girls stand so long under the HOT sun?'. I smiled to him but inside my heart I was like 'HAHAHA', now you know my job! Actually I just want some people to know every job is valueable. =)

New friend that I met - Julia - The 170cm tall Babe

Today is my first time of doing part time/freelance. I gained and I learnt. That's why it's worth for me to start writing a little bit more things about myself. In order to summarize my day, I would say I had a wonderful day and I hope my friends out there are having a little fun too.

It's time to post the blog and get some sleeps too. Goodnight all. =)

Best,
Hor Mei
